Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Studivance platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Studivance is a curated professional support platform offering three verticals: • Academic Support — Guided assistance for coursework, dissertations, and data analysis. Studivance provides guidance; students submit their own work. • Skill-Based Services — Professional services including photography, social media management, virtual assistance, web development, and branding. • Career Bridge — A talent marketplace connecting job seekers with recruiters. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. • Keep your password secure and not share it with third parties. • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account. • Be at least 16 years of age to create an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Studivance supports two user roles: Job Seekers: Users who create a candidate profile to be discovered by recruiters. Seekers are responsible for ensuring the information in their profile (including CVs and work history) is accurate and not misleading. Recruiters: Users who pay for Pro access to search, view, and contact candidates. Recruiters agree not to use candidate data for spam, discrimination, or any purpose other than legitimate recruitment. Studivance does not guarantee that seekers will be hired or that recruiters will find suitable candidates.

Certain features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree: • Payments are processed securely via Stripe (GBP/USD/EUR) or Paystack (NGN). • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. • Refunds are not provided for partial periods unless required by applicable law. • Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance. • In the event of a payment failure, access to Pro features may be suspended until payment is resolved. Studivance provides academic guidance and support. We do not write or submit work on behalf of students. Users agree to: • Use academic support services solely for guidance, tutoring, and skill development. • Comply with their institution's academic integrity and plagiarism policies. • Take full responsibility for the work they submit to their institution. Studivance is not liable for any academic misconduct determinations made by educational institutions.

You must not: • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose. • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent profile information. • Harass, abuse, or harm other users. • Attempt to scrape, crawl, or systematically collect data from the platform. • Reverse engineer or tamper with any part of the Service. • Use candidate data obtained through Career Bridge for spam or unsolicited marketing. • Circumvent subscription requirements to access Pro features. • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code. Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

All content, trademarks, logos, and branding on the Studivance platform are the property of Studivance or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. Content you submit (profile information, CVs, photos) remains your property. By uploading content you grant Studivance a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it solely to operate and improve the Service.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at studivance.co.uk/privacy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components. We make no representations that career outcomes, job offers, or academic results will be achieved through the use of our platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studivance and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer, and Limitation of Liability) will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. For users accessing the Service from Nigeria, these Terms are also subject to the Nigerian Data Protection Act 2023 where applicable.
