<p><strong>About the role:</strong></p>
<p>As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for executing high-quality designs for our financial products, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and effective. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior designers, and champion user-centred design within the organisation. This role requires a strategic mindset, deep UX/UI expertise, and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into seamless user experiences.</p>
<p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Define and execute design strategies that align with business objectives and user needs.</li>
<li>Lead the end-to-end design process, from discovery and research to wireframing, prototyping, and final UI execution.</li>
<li>Conduct advanced user research, usability testing, and A/B experiments to validate and refine design solutions.</li>
<li>Partner closely with product managers and engineers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.</li>
<li>Design scalable UI components and contribute to our evolving design system.</li>
<li>Advocate for accessibility (A11y) and inclusive design principles, ensuring our products serve a diverse user base.</li>
<li>Create and refine micro-interactions and motion elements to improve user engagement and usability.</li>
<li>Use data-driven insights to continuously improve the user experience and optimise for business impact.</li>
<li>Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.</li>
<li>Stay ahead of fintech trends and best practices to drive product innovation.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What you need to succeed</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3+ years in a senior product design role, with a strong focus on UX and a demonstrated ability to lead impactful projects</li>
<li>Mastery of visual design, typography, grids, layout, and colour theory.</li>
<li>Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and user flows.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of designing for both mobile and web platforms, ensuring responsive and adaptive experiences.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of behavioural psychology and how it influences user decision-making.</li>
<li>Extensive experience conducting usability testing, user interviews, and heuristic evaluations.</li>
<li>Ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative insights into impactful design decisions.</li>
<li>Familiarity with UX analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar, etc.).</li>
<li>Proficiency in atomic design principles and building scalable UI frameworks.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of motion design tools (Lottie, After Effects, Principle) to create dynamic user experiences.</li>
<li>Experience mentoring and guiding junior designers.</li>
<li>Ability to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders across teams.</li>
<li>Comfortable working in agile, fast-paced product teams.</li>
<li>Figma mastery - deep experience with auto layout, design tokens, component variants, interactive prototypes, and scalable design libraries.</li>
<li>Proven experience in fintech and/or SaaS environments, with a strong understanding of industry challenges and user behaviours.</li>

<li>Final executive conversation: a discussion with senior leadership about your ability to think strategically, collaborate across teams, and drive business and user impact through design.</li>
